Health Minister Overcomes Sinusitis, Asthma and Fibrocystic Breast Disease

I am a Hallelujah Acres Health Minister and have been to Hallelujah Acres in Shelby several times and have never been disappointed.  Just being there is an amazing experience.  The quality of the education received always deepens my appreciation for your message, “You don’t have to be sick.” 

In 2005, I spent a week at The Hallelujah Lifestyle Center in Plant City, Florida.  By that time I had been on the Hallelujah Lifestyle for several years.  Fibrocystic breast disease and arthritis pain were gone, but I was daily plagued with sinusitis and asthma.  The quality of my life from day to day depended on what my lungs would allow me to do, and I was exhausted by the day-and-night coughing.  At that time, I had to worry about my throat closing up – usually requiring a trip to the ER.  Sherry and David Orcutt were kind, gracious and welcoming teachers.  It was the best vacation I have ever had.  It was at their Center that I was given the encouragement to stay the course, and received a renewed joy over eating God’s Way. 

In 2006, I returned to Plant City with my husband, who remains 90% true to the Hallelujah Diet and at age 80 is active and in good health.  In 2007, I returned for a third time with my sister.  Now, she and her husband have been enjoying God’s juices and foods.  Her husband even helps her with the juicing and food preparation.  It is a togetherness thing for them.  This year her husband began to have trouble seeing.  The eye doctor told him his eyesight has improved and he needed a weaker prescription for his glasses.  Hallelujah!!

Let me tell you about my grandson, Aiden (picture – 9 months).  My daughter has been about 85% vegetarian for years, and she juices.  She consumes no dairy at all.  When she found out she was pregnant with Aiden, she eliminated all animal products and stepped up the juicing.  On July 22, 2008, she gave birth to our beautiful Aiden who was 8 pounds and 7 ounces, healthy and well developed.  His primary food has been breast milk.  When he spends the day with me and his Granddad, we usually have to supplement with a bottle of the goat milk/water/carrot-celery formula which we make up fresh.  He has been getting Barley Max also.  At 9 months, he he has 4 teeth, he has been getting blended banana, apple or sweet potato.  This picture is Aiden eating his smoothie made of BarleyMax, spinach, banana and avocado.  He grabbed the spoon from me and started to lick it.  He really enjoys his food (good and healthy foods).  We have titled this picture “I love my BarleyMax!”  Aiden has not yet experienced a cold, flu or ear infection. 

We praise God everyday for Aiden’s excellent health, and for his happy demeanor.  We say a great big THANKS to you, Dave & Sherry, and all those At Hallelujah Acres who are devoted to educating us about God’s best diet and lifestyle.  Before the Hallelujah Diet I felt as if life was draining out of me.  Now I have the health and energy to enjoy my grandson.  What a blessing!
