Prostate Cancer & Macular Degeneration Disappeared on the Hallelujah Diet

My journey began when my wife, Joan, and I decided to do something with our health.  The fad at the time was a “high protein diet.”  It had the usual appeal – we could eat all the meat we wanted!  I stayed on that diet for 8 ½ years.  In the meantime, I had lost both parents to cancer – Dad died at 75 and Mom died at 58.

In 1998 I was Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer with a PSA of 9.3 and a year later I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration.  My doctors told me my only options were surgery and that I could try to control my MD with pills.

When I was 8 years old I had an accident that caused me to loose my vision in my left eye.  I was diagnosed with MD in my right eye – I certainly did not want to be completely blind.  The MD was causing black spots in my vision and when I slept on my right side, my vision would get foggy.  I guess I got motivated to do something.

One day Joan was watching the 700 Club and saw Rev. Malkmus.  She called for his “God’s Way” book. I read it twice and it made sense: Easy Formula:  Do THIS and THIS equals RESULTS.

In July 2000, I went cold turkey (excuse the expression) on the diet and immediately noticed more energy. Within 2 ½ months somehow, God just let me know that my Cancer and MD were gone.  At 3 ½ months I had that confirmed with my doctors and they verified that both the cancer and the MD were gone.  My PSA count was down to 0.4.  Hallelujah!!

Some friends of mine were on the Hallelujah Diet and we thought they were crazy.  How strange - why they even packed their juicer in their car when they traveled.

My wife, Joan did not go on the HD with me.  But as she watched me detox from all the high protein foods I had eaten for 8 ½ years she was horrified at all the putrid colors my body and skin reflected and was worried I was going to die.  She said I turned orange, brown and green as years of toxin build-up made way out of my body.

Living life without the threat and fear of Cancer and Macular Degeneration has been such a blessingl.  My weight went from 195 down to a consistent 152.

Joan and I became Health Minister’s in July 2002, where we met Dave & Sherry Orcutt from Plant City, Florida. We now hold summer support group meetings in Speculator, New York.  It is my passion to get the word out that God will answer prayers.  I want to instill the love and Word of Jesus Christ in those that I meet and let my circle of influence know what the HD and God has done for me and what it can do for them.
